Hibiscus Coast Presbyterian Church (HBCPC) is seeking a passionate and creative Children’s Ministry Leader to help grow our faith-filled community on Auckland’s beautiful Hibiscus Coast.

This part-time role involves leading Sunday morning children’s ministry during school terms, preparing engaging activities, and collaborating weekly with Rev. Werner Schroeder for mentoring and ministry development. You’ll also have the full support of a team of enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to help bring your vision to life.

We value flexibility and are happy to work around existing or new schedules. Sunday mornings are our only non-negotiable.

What we’re looking for:

We welcome both emerging and experienced leaders who have:

  • A vibrant faith and a testimony of following Jesus Christ
  • A passion for nurturing children’s faith and supporting families
  • Creativity, leadership and organisational skills.

Requirements:
Completion of the PYM Warrant of Fitness (WoF) Training, and a Police Clearance Check (PCANZ).

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEADER

BETHLEHEM COMMUNITY CHURCH, TAURANGA

Bethlehem Community Church is looking for a Children’s Ministry Leader to start in Term 1, 2025.

This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be coordinating our children’s ministry. This includes our Sunday morning programmes, Mainly Music and one-off events. Supported by a willing team, the successful applicant has the opportunity to grow these ministries within the church, while connecting to the wider community.

The successful applicant will have a Christian faith, be a good Christian role model and make Bethlehem Community Church their church home during their employment.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES MINISTRY WORKER

HAWKES BAY

5 Hawkes Bay Presbyterian churches together are seeking a Children’s and families worker to lead in our outreach to and ministry with Children.  20 hours per week for an initial 2-year contract.

Key tasks include:

  • Developing and supporting the Children & Family leadership teams in the parishes
  • Running intergenerational services and events

Key attributes

  • Proven ministry with Children and Families
  • Proven experience in Mentoring leaders and building teams.
  • We prefer some formal theological education.
  • Ability to work with a cross section of churches.

Cromwell Presbyterian Church is offering a part time position to a Children’s Ministry Coordinator with a heart for children and families.  The successful applicant will be coordinating our children’s ministry that includes our Sunday morning program, Messy Church, Mainly Music and one-off events.  Supported by a willing team, the successful applicant has the opportunity to grow these ministries within the church while connecting to the wider community.

The successful applicant will have a Christian faith, be a good Christian role model and make Cromwell Presbyterian their church home during their employment.

This position is 30 hours per week.
